Galatians 3:6: “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”
As he does in Romans 4:3, Paul quoting Genesis 15:6 uses Abraham as proof that there has never been any other way of salvation than by grace through faith.
Even the Old Testament teaches justification by faith!

Wednesday’s were doing a weekly study on: “The Book of 1 Samuel. Line upon line. Let’s ‘re-discover’ God again!  Every week 7 PM.
Communion is every first Wednesday of the month at 7 PM. Sundays we’re studying 1 Timothy.

The Women’s Bible Study Group (our Women’s Saturday Morning Study) – Fellowship & Breakfast will be discussing “Embraced ” – by Lysa TerKeurst  each second Saturday.  There’s no purchase required, there’s a sign-up sheet on the back table for a headcount! May 10th, 9 Am.

One Step to Freedom is a Biblical discipleship study focused on the sinful nature & how it may lead to many forms of addiction. It’s for anyone not just addicts! Thursday evenings at 7 Pm. here at CCSS.  585 594-9575

Father’s Heart Outreach:

They are, accepting toiletries and non-perishable food items, tracts, and Bibles (our greatest need is for kids’ Bibles and books). Thank you for all the donations. And please we need winter clothing, coats, gloves, etc.
Donations can be dropped off at The Father’s Heart headquarters, 678 Lake Avenue, Wednesday from 8 Am. to 12 noon, and Thursday and Friday from 9 Am. to 5 p.m. For information, call (585) 472-4331.  If you are able to help them, please know that it would be a great blessing to those in need. Thank you.

We make a run to Father’s Heart every couple weeks if you would like to bring things to church.
