Children and Sunday School – “Feed My Lambs”
Pastor Justin Bowser

With God’s Word as our highest priority, we have designed our Children’s Ministry in such a way that children can learn on their level and at their pace. Calvary Chapel Southside begins at 10:00 a.m. with children’s worship separate from adult worship. After worship, the kids begin children’s church in an environment designed for their age level. During services the ‘littlest’ lambs are taken care of by experienced responsible Mothers
and helpers.

Teachers serve Jesus by instructing all the children in the Bible and by doing crafts pertaining to the lesson. All children, are taught about the Lord on their own level./Nehemiah 8:3)  It’s easy for them to ask questions and interact in a more child friendly environment. The children, ages 3-5, are using a C.C. curriculum that travels through the 4 Gospels continually. The other class ages 6-12 uses a C.C. curriculum spanning the entire Bible. Our greatest concern is for their salvation and instruction for spiritual growth.  3 John 1:4 says: “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.” We agree!
Adults can enjoy an hour at the Lord’s feet, learning His word and how to apply it, so they can feel refreshed and prepared to take on the week.

Children under the age of 12 have their own worship services so that they can worship in song and grow using songs that are age appropriate.
We pray that you’ll come join us as we worship our Lord, Savior and King, Jesus Christ.

Family Sports Day: to be decided, –  All ages are welcome!
Youth Group: Friday March 20, 6 PM. ages from 10 – 17 are welcome.

Calvary Chapel Southside Women’s Ministry  –  “Feed My Sheep”

All gathering sets aside time for unstructured fellowship. This allows us to reach out of our comfort zones and get to know each other across ages, stages and roles in an open, inviting atmosphere.
We also devote significant time to prayer, the Word, and occasionally, acts of service or worship.

If you are longing for greater connection, or godly counsel from those who have tread a similar path before you, or to disciple those who are younger than you, and be exhorted in the Word in a small group setting, we hope that you will check our church calendar for upcoming gatherings.

Ladies, we’re meeting at 9 Am on the second Saturday of each month (same as the men) to study:

The Book of James  – The sign-up sheet back table.
(next meeting is 3/14).  Breakfast is included!

585  764-6810  or:  585  905-5833

Thanks Ladies for all the Christmas boxes for the kids!

Guys – Men’s Breakfast: We will be meeting regularly as men, for prayer, fellowship, breakfast & God’s Word every second Saturday Morning of each month!  Join us, bring a friend.  It’s interactive & very laid back.
Bring your Bible!  The whole thing is also free!  The price has been paid!
Our desire is to bring men together to hear God’s Word and draw them closer to Jesus Christ.
To allow men to use the gifts of the Spirit to exhort and encourage one another.
Also to foster accountability between men.
As well as helping us to understand and submit to the roles that God has placed before us as husbands, fathers, grandfathers, employers, employees, teachers, etc. In addition to one-on-one fellowship, these principals are utilized through the following regular events.

Also for once a month men’s breakfasts and men’s night dinners and studies on a regular basis.  Next breakfast is 3/14/25.     585 905-5833

Please pray specifically for God’s help to bring inward changes that will expand our capacities for friendship. God provides opportunities to develop friendships. This doesn’t always come naturally to some guys, but these are the opportunities that the Lord provides and we know we need each others. The Word tells us to pray for one another. Come join us. Stay tuned, we have men’s fellowship activities and speakers planned.

“Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.”
1 Corinthians 16:13. In other words: “Keep your eyes on Jesus and don’t quit!” God bless you guys.
